Partial High School Study Abroad Scholarships
Intrax Study Abroad offers a number of partial scholarships that are applicable towards all High School Study Abroad programs and countries. The earlier you apply, the more likely it is that you will receive a scholarship. We also consider the overall quality of the program application - how neat and complete it is, and how much time and energy you have put into your essays and family album. We look favorably upon students who have demonstrated some initiative to fundraise on their own. Ultimately, we expect our scholarship recipients to be model student ambassadors who demonstrate an adaptable, flexible, and mature personality, a desire to be challenged, and the ability to remain open minded and tolerant of cultural differences.
Youth Writing Scholarship
Intrax Study Abroad will grant 6 scholarships to study abroad participants. These scholarships will be awarded based on an essay contest. Students will write a 500-750 word essay on one of several topics and submit their essay by March 1, 2010. Download the essay contest form.
Those who are awarded the scholarships will blog about their study abroad experience and that blog will appear on this website, www.intraxstudyabroad.com. The purpose of this scholarship is to award skillful writers and allow other students to share the study abroad experiences of those students. The essay contest is open to all applicants to an Intrax Study Abroad program.
